Isle of Wight Zoo, Sandown, 01983 403883

As well as having Britain's largest collection of tigers, the Isle of Wight Zoo is also home to lions, leopards, jaguars, lemurs, monkeys, snakes, spiders and lizards. All animals are kept within naturalist enclosures.
Amazon World Zoo Park, Nr. Arreton, 01983 867122

Zoo, conservation area and rain forest.  Home to 200 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, insects, amphibians and fish.  Visitors can see tropical birds flying about the rainforest, a crocodile in the pond, a falconry display and endangered species in the zoo.
Dinosaur Isle, Sandown, Isle of Wight, 01983 404344

The Isle of Wight is the most important site for dinosaur remains in Europe! In recognition of this, the first purpose built museum in Britain was built on the Isle of Wight and now displays over 1,000 fossils and dinosaur reconstructions. 

Godshill Model Village, Godshill, 01983 840270

Model villages of the local villages on the Isle of Wight of Godshill and Shanklin, to a 1/10 scale.  Models of pubs, churches, the airfield, 2,500 conifers and shrubs.  The tour of the model village takes around 45 mintues.
Blackgang Chine, Nr. Ventnor, 01983 730052

Adventure park set in 40 acres of cliff top gardens, overlooking the south west coast.  Themed areas include nursery rhyme characters, dinosaurs, cowboy and indians.  Rides for small children, as well as older ones, including a roller coaster that reaches 400 feet above the sea.

Robin Hill Countryside Adventure Park, Newport,

Set in 88 acres of countryside, there is something for everyone at this country park, including woodland walks, toboggan runs, hillbilly slides, swingship, bird watching and falconry displays.  Three to four hours of activities and attractions. 
The Needles, Alum Bay, 0870 4580022

The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse are the island's most famous landmark, and there are a variety of attractions to see including live glass sculpture demonstrations, the sand shop with up to 21 shades of sand, sweet factory where you watch the sweets being made, 9-hole golf course and boat rides to see the Needles.

Learn to climb trees!  Two and a half hours of instruction, with all equipment provided.  Climbing up to 50ft and hanging upside down, or resting along the climb in the tree hammock.  The trees are located in areas of outstanding beauty.

See the island from an open top bus!  One hour circular tour of the island visiting all the key sites.  Hop on and off as you wish.
Brickfields Horse Country, Binstead Ryde, 01983 566801

A complete selection of horses and ponies can found at Brickfields, these include miniature Shetland ponies, which do not grow any bigger than 34 inches, donkeys, miniature jack donkey, and jenny donkeys, a mule, shire horses and thoroughbred horses.  In addition, there are an array of farm animals, and during the high season six or seven pigs race in Porkers Paradise!  There is also a museum with carriages and radios.

Island Planetarium & Astronomy Resources Centre, Yarmouth, Isle of Wight, 01983 761555

Multimedia astrodome theatre and exhibition area.  Shows are under a hemispherical dome in the darkened auditorium lasting between 25 – 40 minutes with realistic and accurate reproduction of the star-studded night sky.  Science displays and computer simulations in the exhibition area.
The Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary, Wroxall, 01983 852693

The Donkey Sanctuary was established in 1987 to provide a home for donkeys in distress or need of care and attention.  The sanctuary is now home to over 200 donkeys, set in 50 acres of land.
