Lakeside Superbowl, Berkshire, Oxfordshire & Sussex,

Lakeside Superbowl have bowling centres countrywide and specifically in Newbury, Chichester and Banbury.  The centres all have numerous lanes, pool tables, amusements, dining and big screen TVs.

Bowlplex owns 16 bowling centres in the UK.  South East centres are in Brighton, Basingstoke, Portsmouth, Tunbridge Wells and Oxford.  Facilities include numerous bowling lanes, American pool, dining, big screen TVs and video game arcades.

 

Cotswold Wildlife Park, Burford, 01993 823006

Wildlife Park and gardens set in 160 acres of parkland, around a listed Victorian house.  The Wildlife Park is divided into four areas, with an absolute array of animals, birds and reptiles including penguins, meerkats, llamas, lions, leopards, owls, rhino, camels, flamingos, crocodiles, and pythons. There is also a walled garden, water garden and exotic flowers in the grounds.

Water Fowl Sanctuary & Children's Farm, Bloxham & Hook Norton, 01608 730252

Opened throughout the year, this sanctuary, rescue centre and children's animal farm was established in 1989 and is home to various animals including geese, ducks, bantams, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, pigs, tropical birds, emus, terrapins, ostrich, chipmunks, donkeys and many more.  There is also a 'Cuddle Corner' where adults and children (with strict adult supervision), can handle baby rabbits, chicks, ducklings, kittens and new born mice and gerbils, when in season.
