Attractive red brick 18th century country pub and restaurant located in a remote leafy country lane in the Chiltern Hills, with glorious views over the valley.
On a warm summer's day or evening, enjoy a drink and tapas in the relaxing garden with beautiful views over the hills, and overlooking their famous red telephone box submerged in the pond, which has become a source of great pleasure for Aylesbury Ducks!
In the colder months warm up by the roaring fire in cosy Snug Bar, with flagstone floors and original beams. Ideal to warm up the toes after a long walk!
The owner, Simon Crawshaw, has an impressive career having started his occupation with the Connaught Hotel in London, before moving onto the Gavroche with Michel Roux jnr and Chez Nico under Three Michelin stared chef Nico Ladenis. He also worked at the J Sheekeys and the Sloane Club in Chelsea. With all this in mind, you can expect good food at the Three Horseshoes.
Food
For formal dining there is the restaurant, or on the garden terrace overlooking the pond. At lunchtime choose from the bar menu, which offers a range of meals, or for a more formal 3 course lunch. Dinner is an à la carte menu served in all the pub's dining areas.
Rooms
There are six stylish individually decorated rooms, all en-suite, with vi-spring mattresses, goose down duvets and Molton Brown toiletries. All rooms are named after local shoots.
The Three Horseshoes welcomes families in the restaurant and dogs in the Snug.
