Very nice country restaurant with views over the Sussex countryside. Inside the restaurant is decorated in contemporary whites and greens, mixed with aged painted wooden furniture and an exposed stone wall.  A relaxed atmosphere prevails and unusually the restaurant is open for breakfast (from 10am), lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.  In the warmer months afternoon tea is served in the pretty garden.  At lunchtime choose from a light lunch of sandwiches or something more substantial from the full menu.  Sunday lunch menus usually offer four different roast lunches.

The 12 acre Goodwood Estate encompasses the horse race track, motor sports, country house, hotel and spa.  The newly refurbished Richmond Arms is now a country dining room with a vaulted ceiling specialising in British cuisine, along with a bar in which, from May, traditional bar games will be available such as backgammon and dominos.  The Goodwood Bar & Grill has recently reopened providing a brasserie type restaurant, serving British food.  From May the Bar & Grill will be putting on barbeques every Saturday night (weather permitting).  Breakfast is available daily.  The 93 rooms have been awarded 4 Star AA status.

The 4 AA Red Star Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa is set in 170 acres of private gardens and parkland within the Sussex countryside.  The formal restaurant is located in the oldest part of the building, which dates back to the early 18th century, and the modern European cuisine has been awarded 2 AA Rosettes.  For something more relaxed the Reflections Brasserie offers a chic environment overlooking the central courtyard, where diners can eat al fresco during the summer months, and the Brasserie has its own Champagne bar.  During the summer Afternoon Tea is taken on the lawn, whilst in the winter it is served inside beside the log fires.  The hotel has 38 luxury rooms and offers the Utopia Spa with luxury leisure facilities.

Charming restaurant that is more like a home in décor than a restaurant, with a small lounge area to enjoy drinks before dinner and an original beamed restaurant with traditional wooden furniture.   The quaint 14th century flint building used to be monks cottage's, with original beams and fireplaces remaining.  It was here in 1972 that Banoffi Pie was created.  The menu is a British/French affair that has been awarded an AA Rosette for the quality of its food.

Jeremy’s at Borde Hill is located at the entrance to the glorious Borde Hill Estate.  This elegant yet relaxing restaurant is a converted stable block with the approach via a cobbled courtyard.  Awarded an AA Rosette, the restaurant is both light and airy, serving modern European cuisine.  During the summer months enjoy dinner alfresco on the terrace overlooking the Victorian walled garden.  Alternatively, enjoy a traditional Sunday lunch all year round.
