The formal, yet relaxed, Armada Restaurant is a sight to behold. Attention to detail, as in the rest of the house, is obvious with the magnificent carving of the Armada set in the fireplace. This took nine years to complete and was carved out of one solid block of oak some 4ft thick.
For something more relaxed, take a lighter meal in the Lounge whilst enjoying the view of the gardens and ponds. The Terrace provides a great opportunity for Al Fresco dining, or if guests prefer to wander the grounds or the surrounding area, the hotel can offer a basic or luxury picnic hamper to take away.
