The hotel building dates back to 1430 and the beams, oak panelling, sloping floor and log fires remain.  The two AA Rosette restaurant offers modern British cuisine.  The hotel rooms have been awarded three AA Stars, and facilities include a spa, sauna, indoor pool, hot tub and steam room.  Traditional afternoon tea served daily.

The 12 acre Goodwood Estate encompasses the horse race track, motor sports, country house, hotel and spa.  The newly refurbished Richmond Arms is now a country dining room with a vaulted ceiling specialising in British cuisine, along with a bar in which, from May, traditional bar games will be available such as backgammon and dominos.  The Goodwood Bar & Grill has recently reopened providing a brasserie type restaurant, serving British food.  From May the Bar & Grill will be putting on barbeques every Saturday night (weather permitting).  Breakfast is available daily.  The 93 rooms have been awarded 4 Star AA status.
