| St Patrick's Day Parade, London, 020 7983 4000 The Mayor’s St Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival with Lebara Mobile will take place on Sunday 14 March, and is likely to be one of London's liveliest celebrations of the year. Over 100,000 people attended the event last year. The parade - a colourful array of floats, marching bands and groups representing the Irish Counties - will proceed through central London from Green Park to Trafalgar Square from midday. Trafalgar Square will host the festival programme of live Irish music and dance on the main performance stage, showcasing the best of Irish music and dance from traditional to contemporary. Acts to be announced shortly. This free family day out is a fun way to experience all things Irish – food, dance, crafts, culture and music. |
