The Yvonne Arnaud Theatre is one of England's leading regional producing theatres staging a mixture of drama, contemporary dance, comedy, music and pantomimes. Such is the quality of the productions staged that many have transferred to the West End.

Since 1991 the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre has created 119 productions (including 60 new plays), which have toured to 80 different cities in the United Kingdom providing 673 weeks of product for other regional theatres. Of the 119 productions, 53 then transferred to London, 32 of which were new plays. Its scenery workshops, in addition to creating sets for the Yvonne Arnaud's stage, have built for Glyndebourne, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Chichester Festival Theatre and most of the country's leading commercial companies.

The Mill Studio seats 80, and was opened to provide a venue for productions that would otherwise not have been shown in Guildford. It is also home to the Youth Theatre, and children's events take place here most Saturdays, which includes fun, magic and theatre.

Children’s events are held most Saturdays in the Mill Studio. Packed full of silly fun and magical entertainment designed to delight young children, they are the perfect introduction to live performance. Children’s theatre shows are also regularly staged at the Mill Studio.

Yvonne Arnaud is located in an attractive setting overlooking the River Wey. The Riverview Restaurant and Riverbank Café Bar are both ideally located overlooking the river, with the restaurant serving classic dishes and the Riverbank Café Bar offering great sandwiches, light snacks, main meals and regularly changing specials.
