St.Patrick's Day

St.Patrick's Day traditionally falls on the the 17th March, however the Roman Catholic Church has moved 2008's St.Patrick Day to the 15th March because it coincides with a pivotal day in the Christian Calendar, that of the second day of Holy week.

The last time St.Patrick's Day was moved was in 1940 when it coincided with Palm Sunday.
