The Cherry Tree Inn
The Cherry Tree Inn in situated in an area of out-standing beauty at one of the highest points within The Chilterns. Originally, three flint cottages dating back to 1700's, The Cherry Tree has been a pub for over 200 years.
Original flagstone floors, beamed ceilings and fireplaces complemented with contemporary style décor utilising strong colours and modern, comfortable furnishings add to the ambience of the pub.
Being close to the National Trails of the Ridgeway, Thames Path and Thames Valley Cycle Routes, The Cherry Tree is a popular resting and refreshment stop for walkers and cyclists.
The full bar includes a selection of draught and bottled lagers and bitters as well as Brakspear Real Ale, a selection of fine Malt Whiskies and brandies, chilled Vodkas and a large wine list.
Eating
Service is informal, with an eat anywhere policy. The menu features a variety of classic European dishes with a modern twist using quality, fresh ingredients and local produce. A homemade roast on Sundays.
Garden
During the summer months, take advantage of the large garden for a drink or al fresco eating, with room for 40 outside diners.
Rooms
The Cherry Tree also offers accommodation with four double en-suite rooms that are located in an old converted barn to the side of the Inn. The Cherry, Plum, Pear and Walnut rooms have all been finished to a high standard with contemporary designs and the modern comforts and conveniences usually reserved for city hotels.
The Cherry Tree welcomes family and children can eat in the restaurant up to 8pm.
