20th-century 'Mediterranean' garden with views to the sea

This magical garden, planted to allow for climate change with colourful borders, shrub-filled banks and grassy terraces, is set in a sheltered valley with distant views to the sea and surrounds an Elizabethan manor house (not open).

There are delightful walks on to the downs across the adjoining Mottistone Estate.
