Marneys is a lovely old country pub, small, initimate and oozing charm.  It is a very popular local pub, particularly during the summer months when the large garden is very busy.  A traditional pub with beamed ceilings, a small open fireplace and a small bar that just adds to the charm of the place.  Situated in country surroundings opposite a pond with views of the local church, you could easily forget you are only a few steps away from the main road leading to Hampton Court to Esher!

The Stephan Langton is a traditional country pub in the most beautiful setting, hidden away between a forest and a pond. To get to the pub you have to drive through the beautiful Surrey Hills countryside before getting to the end of a wooded road and the large, silky smooth pond appears in front of you. Drive along the lane to the Stephan Langton where a thoroughly nice pub awaits you. This is a great pub for walkers and dogs are very welcome at the pub. There is seating outside the pub, and fireplace to keep you warm when you walk in from the cold.
Parrot Inn, Forest Green, Dorking, Surrey RH5, 01306 621339

Fabulous old 17th century traditional country pub sitting opposite the village cricket green with plenty of outdoor seating. The Parrot Inn has a very good reputation for food, which can be enjoyed in either in the restaurant or in the pub area.  But this is more than a food pub! The Parrot Inn has a large brick/wood bar area where locals and visitors can drink at the bar or sit down at one of the many tables. Flagstone floors, dark oak beams, cosy nooks and crannies, and a large fireplace all combine to create a great country pub atmosphere. Surprisingly, there is also a farm shop within in the pub where you can buy meat, freshly made bread and cakes, chutneys and pies.

King William IV, Mickleham, Dorking, 01372 372590

Prince of Wales, Oaklands Village, Weybridge, 01932 852 082

A 19th century traditional pub with a good local chatty atmosphere, tucked away behind the main road leading from Oaklands Village to Weybridge.  This popular pub is divided into 2/3 sections; the top bar has a large roaring fireplace, the smaller bar between the  back and front bars is little more than a corridor between bars, which leads into the main front bar area with an un-intrusive TV showing sport.
The Jolly Farmer, Weybridge, Surrey, 01932 856873

The Jolly Farmer is a small, traditional local pub that was taken over by a new landlord in September 09 and is gaining a good reputation for its beer. A country pub in suburbia with a small bar seating plenty of happy punters, and good helpful bar staff.  There is a good drinking atmosphere in this pub and in the summer months punters can sit outside the front of the pub or in the garden to the rear. If you are looking for a modern gastro pub this is not an option, however if you are looking for a drink in a traditional pub in a nice environment then this is the place.

The Albany is light and bright helped by the numerous windows, many of which overlook the Thames. The restaurant area is spacious with solid oak tables and chairs. The bar area is cosy in a modern/traditional way with a large bar, bar stools and seating throughout, with a fire to warm visitors during the winter months.
